Teachers, Medical, and public employees - are you getting a raise?...right before midterm elections?

- What is your net increase after California lawmakers cause your Insurance rates to go up? : condoUnitOwners, Homeowners, Renters, Car, Liability...etc? ...and after extreme regulations & bad management cause Price increases?: Food, gasoline, entertainment, travel...and after tax increases?: DMV, Excise, Income, Property, Mileage, Gasoline,.......?

we always get raises and lower prices right before an election.

HOW CALIFORNIA lAW MAKERS HAVE PUT YOUR CHILD IN DANGER-

The terrifying way that students leave campus with permission of the state, but not a parent, is AB 495 2025.

     The state trusts strangers with our kids.   Among other laws, the Caregiver’s Authorization Affidavit does not have to be filled out at any time before the "caregiver" arrives to pick up the child. 

   Like with California elections, the law makers of California pretend that complete strangers are going to be honest and not abuse the system.

…does not have to be signed by the parent.               

…no proof needed. "Just be honest".             

…schools and health care providers must accept a properly completed affidavit as sufficient authority for …consents.       

…schools cannot ask for proof of kinship beyond the sworn affidavit.                                                                                                                         I'm voting for California law makers who vow to end these abuses.

Cell phone child protection laws do the opposite

Facial age recognition could allow predators to know for sure that they are communicating with a child and gain access through a digital black market. (anapolweiss.com) 

Under EC 48205(12), Another case where students can leave school without the parent's knowledge or consent:

They are entitled to one excused absence per school year for participation in a civic or political event, such as a protest, provided they notify the school in advance.

 

Your middle or high school child can simply check out of school for the day to go protest something, without your knowledge or consent.

The more recent round of protests around the country had kids uploading videos of fights, strangers on the street (and teachers) being assaulted, and one teenager running into an innocent bicyclist with his car. 

More jobs are leaving California due to extreme regulations and taxes.

Anheiser Busch, Leprino Foods, The Container Store, and Blue Diamond Growers are four more businesses that are fleeing California (1st quarter 2026) or reducing size. Around 1000 jobs and a lot of tax revenue are at risk.

That tax money is what we use to pay teachers and other public employees in California.

UC Santa Cruz Study: The fast food wage increase hurt jobs. (Mar.'26)

    Among 18 franchise stores in the Central Valley, the study estimates that a total of 62 jobs were lost as a result of higher business costs.

    Until recently, no one ever expected that a minimum wage job would be a lifelong career. Minimum wage jobs are where we gain skills. Trade school, business school,  and college are where we prepare for careers.

Governor Gavin Newsom said that he is proud that he offers free medical care to non-citizens: 

Last week (March 26), I had 2 tow truck rides and 2 Uber rides. Each driver was a native Spanish speaker and a legal-entry resident of California. 3 of them expressed anger over mass migration into California and 1 of them said that the medical care help that he used to receive had been significantly reduced and that his wait times have gone from days to weeks. 

 

This past weekend (March 28), I met a non-citizen who entered the country during the Biden Administration. He said that he had recently become homeless. I asked him if he was going to take the offer of $2600 cash to remigrate back home. He said that he did not believe the offer.  This disconnect needs to be addressed.

California Dams in Danger - flooding concern

As of 2025, at least 17 dams under the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) jurisdiction are operating under reservoir restrictions due to safety deficiencies requiring maintenance or repair.

Palisades water - The Santa Ynez reservoir (often called the Palisades Reservoir)

 

    The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) had drained the reservoir in early 2024 after discovering a significant tear in its floating cover, which is required by state and federal drinking water regulations. (cbsnews.com)

    Repairs were delayed due to a lengthy competitive bidding process (with only 1 vendor, The Layfield Group, submitting a proposal) (sdmp.com), and the contract was not finalized until November 2024. The repairs had not been finished before the Jan. 2025 fire.

    According to CBS news, the repairs were finally completed and the reservoir has been filled.

    Question - With only 1 bidder, and therefore no competition, emergency procurement measures could have been taken (karmactive.com). With normal delays, the job could have been completed before the fire.

    An emergency procurement measure can happen quickly (Public Contract Code § 1102) and the repairs, even with delays, took 4 months. 

California Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Governor Newsom began his governorship with a $21.4 billion dollar budget surplus.

 

Now, after Newsom, the Legislative Analyst's Office warns of a $20 to $35 billion dollar multiyear structural deficit. (lao.ca.gov)

 

The Biden Administration prosecuted more than $20 billion of California state fraud (sacbee.com), and there is much more to be uncovered and prosecuted: *medicare fraud.  *hospice fraud. *elder financial abuse  *insurance fraud. *government and public benefits fraud *unemployment fraud *childcare fraud...

...and, of course, probable election fraud is being exposed every day by independent journalists. 

 

I hope that these important cases can be properly investigated and processed.
